Elevate your espresso service or porcelain collection with this exquisite, rare set of six (6) footed demitasse cups and matching saucers by the prestigious German manufacturer Rosenthal. Produced between 1930 and 1931 in Bavaria, Germany, this set features the highly sought-after "The Orchid" pattern on Rosenthal's signature warm ivory porcelain base.
The design is a masterclass in early 20th-century European porcelain artistry. Each footed cup features an intricate, hand-detailed interior painting of a vibrant purple orchid nested with yellow blossoms. The exteriors of both the cups and the matching saucers are framed by a bold, rich green band and heavily decorated with ornate, gilded gold scrolls and fine gold trims along the distinctly scalloped edges.
