Refurbished vintage Model J148 sofa designed by Erik Ole Jørgensen for Kvist Møbelfabrik, featuring an exposed beech frame with spoke-back detailing, clean architectural lines, and loose upholstered cushions in premium light grey textile. The design has a light, informal Scandinavian character while still feeling substantial and well-built.
This example has been refurbished and newly upholstered in Camira Main Line Flax “Archway,” the same fabric specification offered on current factory productions of the J148 by FDB Møbler. The neutral tone pairs beautifully with the warm beech frame and keeps the overall look understated, natural, and very true to the design.
A refined and highly usable Danish modern sofa with excellent presence from every angle, including the open spoke back. No maker's mark present.
