Painted in soft, hazy greens and blues in the Barbizon taste, they read like two little windows — made for a shelf, a desk, or the small wall that needs a quiet view.

Each painting is signed lower right "Cummings," and each backing board carries a pencil inscription, "Paula Collard," from an earlier owner. Both sit in their matching giltwood frames with walnut-tone liners, wired and ready to hang. Offered as a pair — they have plainly lived together a long time, and they belong together.

Oil on canvas board. Each frame measures 6″ × 6″; the image in view is 4½″ × 4½″. Excellent condition — please review all photos, which show the exact pair you will receive. See less
