The Large Seal (No. 012261 / 7646 085 000), designed by Max Schreck and made 1985–1995, measures 3.5 in. long and has black eyes, a black nose, and its full fan of black whiskers. The Mini Seal (No. 012530 / 7663 046 000), designed by Adi Stocker from 1986, measures 1.75 in. long and is the button-nose, no-whisker variation. Both are faceted clear crystal, made in Austria.

The interesting bit: Swarovski sold these same seals with different faces in different markets — a plain black button nose in Europe, silver whiskers in the USA — before settling on the black-whiskered version worldwide. This pair happens to span two of those variants: the worldwide black-whiskered adult, and the earlier European button-nose baby, whisker-free by design rather than by damage.
