Eero saarinen wanted to eliminate the clutter of table legs. So he designed a table that stands on a single pedestal: organically curved, with a top that appears to float on a tulip-shaped stem. The base is made of lacquered aluminum, the top of white marble – a material that develops character over time.
this knoll international table dates from the 1960s and has a beautiful patina. With a diameter of 107 cm, it comfortably seats four, or even six.
