Designed by the celebrated Danish glass artist Michael Bang for the prestigious Holmegaard Glassworks, this vintage table lamp represents the fine balance of functional lighting and sculptural glassmaking that defined 20th-century Scandinavian design.
The lamp features a hand-blown opaline glass body in a classic baluster silhouette, with a smooth milk-white finish that offers a pristine, high-luster surface. Encircling the base is a captivating, organic swirl motif in soft ocean-blue tones. Executed with a delicate watercolor-like effect, the fluid blue patterns evoke rolling waves or misty coastal landscapes, ensuring that each lamp possesses its own distinct artistic depth.
As an original mid-century Danish creation, this lamp appeals to collectors of vintage Scandinavian lighting, modern design enthusiasts, and admirers of fine Danish design. It works exceptionally well as a accent light on a sideboard, console table, or desk. This piece has an attribution mark,
