Clear glass and Bakelite sphere wall or ceiling light, dating from the 1970s. The fixture combines a rounded transparent glass diffuser with a dark Bakelite mounting element. The clear globe leaves the light source visible while retaining a simple, compact spherical silhouette. Designed for installation either on a wall or directly against the ceiling, the fixture has a restrained utilitarian character defined by the contrast between transparent glass and the dark mounting base.
