A generously sized teak sideboard, designed in the 1960s by Henry Walter Klein and manufactured by Bramin Møbler in Denmark. The Norwegian-born designer's work for Bramin significantly influenced Danish furniture design during that era – characterized by clean proportions and a keen eye for construction details. The design of the corners is particularly striking: accentuated vertical edges resemble columns that continue into the slender, tapered legs, seemingly revealing the underlying construction. Finely detailed horizontal edging in solid wood frames the top and bottom of the body, completing the high-quality look. Square recessed handles with accentuated edges form a calm, graphic motif across the entire front. Behind two large sliding doors are two spacious compartments, each with a shelf, carefully lined inside with beautiful teak. In the center are four drawers, the top one lined with green felt – ideal for cutlery or small treasures.

Condition: Very good vintage condition – some more noticeable marks on the surface have been lovingly and expertly retouched by our restorer. They are still visible, but not distracting, and do not detract from the high-quality appearance of the piece. Warm teak tone with a vibrant grain and beautiful, natural patina. A generous piece of Danish design for sophisticated living and dining areas.
