This slipper chair brings together a softly sculpted wingback, understated three-button detailing and clean, tailored lines—proof that a little restraint can have quite a presence .Clean lines, a generous seat and just enough architectural presence to make an otherwise quiet corner considerably more interesting.
The original chocolate brown velvet has depth, warmth and a little attitude. Its subtle shifts in tone give the fabric character, while the dark tapered wood legs keep the look grounded. Brown, after all, has never needed to be the wallflower.
Perfectly at home in a library, bedroom or living room, it gets along beautifully with antiques, contemporary furnishings and just about anything that knows how to share the room. It doesn't demand attention, but it would be rather difficult to overlook.
A little sculptural, a little Billy Baldwin sensibility and refreshingly unconcerned with what's trending.
