Height/ ca. 217,5 cm, width body/ ca. 180 cm, width cornice/ ca. 205 cm, depth body/ ca. 56 cm, depth cornice/ ca. 75 cm, inside depth/ ca. 51 cm.

Construction:

The cabinet can be disassembled and consists of foot part, head part, two side parts, two doors, back wall and small parts.


Used condition with very nice patina and with minor traces of use,
partially replaced, minimally damaged. old restored see pictures. Was disassembled in the 18/19 century. Good to see on the pictures 55-59. Last restoration was probably more than 60 years ago, which can be narrowed down in time by the lists that are from 1960 and still hanging on the doors.

Renaissance Early Baroque facade cabinet with beautiful patina in maple, walnut and ash. Two door triple jointed body over tall single door base frame with side grimaces. Applied cornice with projecting cornice, dated 1670. Front divided by three fluted three-quarter columns resting on lion finials. Doors with geometric inlays and applied pediments on turned half columns above capitals and carved putti heads. With two original steel cut keys, which are very popular among key collectors. Two similar cabinets can be found in the book Die Kunst des Deutschen Möbels by Himmelheber picture description 525 and 526. See less
