Safari chair by Elias Svedberg for NK – Nordiska Kompaniet in Sweden. The chair is a part of the Trivia series and was designed and manufactured during the second part of the 20th century. It is an authentic Mid-Century Modern Swedish design chair. The armrests are made from leather and are original to the chair. The wooden frame is manufactured from hardwood. The seat and backrest are newly renovated with completely new unbleached linen fabric. The wooden frame has minor traces and marks of use. The chair is in good vintage condition consistent with age and use. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
