Carved from solid ironwood timber, the piece displays distinctive deep and flowing figured grain and a rich, amber-brown finish.
The framework features classic horse-hoof curved legs and a hand-carved apron decorated with traditional ruyi scepters and cloud motifs. Beneath the protective glass sits an original-style woven cane-work mat, adding texture and authenticity while the glass provides a practical, modern surface.
The overall design is firmly rooted in traditional Ming dynasty furniture aesthetics: balanced proportions, elegant curves and refined detailing. It is equally at home in a contemporary living room or a more traditional setting. The glass conversion preserves the original structure while transforming the daybed into a versatile, low-profile coffee table.

This piece offers both sculptural presence and everyday function, with the carved details and rich wood grain serving as a focal point in any room. See less
