The table is from the Swedish Gustavian period which corresponds to the neoclassical period and is made in the Swedish province Hälsingland, circa 1790. Straight tapered legs with fluted decor on three sides. The material is pine and the paint is original since the late 1700s. The tabletop have five newer consoles underneath made to keep the table top in place on the leg frame, most likely during the 1900s. Height to rim is 51.4 cm. The table has traces of the distressed white original paint with the green accent paint and a patina of age. See less
