Made between 1810 … Read more Chest of drawers from northern Sweden made during the transition time between the Gustavian and Empire period. Made between 1810 and 1820 from painted pine with original faux paint. Red frame and a blue tabletop with original hardware as well as the original lock and key. The chest has three large drawers and two small ones. Clean and fresh insides in bare pine and good quality carpentry. Healthy and solid frame. Because it’s a furniture with original paint there are some marks after 200 years of use. The rim by the wall at the left side has a smaller loss of material – see picture. See less
