Standing over six feet tall, this abstract sculpture in the Brutalist manner combines intersecting metal planes, elongated openings, and irregular cut edges. Visible welds and a weathered, oxidized surface emphasize its construction.
The elongated base bears an unidentified cut-through mark. Acquired from a residential property in Northern California. Artist and date unknown. Metal appears to be steel.
Condition: Previously displayed outdoors, with oxidation and areas of surface flaking. Projecting fins beneath the base prevent flush placement on hard surfaces; suitable support or mounting is needed for level display. Please review photographs.
