A charming vintage Israeli ceramic tea set attributed to Kernat Pottery, featuring a rich amber-orange glaze accented by expressive dark brown and black abstract brushwork.
This distinctive set captures the rustic beauty and artistic character of mid-century Israeli pottery. The sculptural teapot features a gracefully curved handle, elongated spout, and fitted conical lid topped with a rounded finial. Coordinating cups and saucers display complementary hand-applied-looking abstract designs, giving the collection an organic, artistic quality.
The warm terracotta-inspired coloring and glossy glazed finish create a beautiful contrast with the dramatic dark brushwork. Each piece contributes to the collection's cohesive yet individually expressive appearance.
The underside of a photographed piece is stamped "ISRAEL" and bears a maker's emblem and the number 527.
Ideal for display in a vintage-inspired kitchen, on open shelving, or as part of a curated collection of international ceramics. This lovely set also makes a distinctive decorative accent for mid-century modern, rustic, or eclectic interiors.
A wonderful find for collectors of Israeli pottery and vintage ceramic tea services.
