The painting is executed on a heavy masonite panel using a masterful impasto-relief technique. The artist has built up a thick, granular surface structure resembling sand-spackel, concrete, or stone before applying the oil paint, or/and has mixed the material with the paint and painted thereafter, leaving a knotty and textured surface.

The semi-abstract composition evokes an industrial or modernist cityscape at dusk. A sweeping orange industrial viaduct or road structure leads the eye into a cluster of dark, block-like architectural shapes, set against a burning orange, yellow, and brown sky.

In very good condition with light wear. The frame is structurally sound and the piece is ready to hang.
