A Barbara Cosgrove candlestick buffet lamp in an antique silver finish. Barbara Cosgrove made lamps for fine furniture showrooms and interior designers from 1996 until the company closed in 2018, so her pieces are no longer in production. This one carries the Barbara Cosgrove tag on the cord.
The cast body is richly detailed with acanthus and shell leaves that climb from a scalloped foot, up the baluster stem, to a flared candle cup. It stands on a dark wood plinth, with a white candle-sleeve stem rising to the shade.
Comes with a beige drum shade, still in its original plastic (16" diameter x 9" high). Bulb not included.
About 35" tall to the top of the finial and 27" without the shade; the base is about 8" wide.
A polished choice for a buffet, sideboard, entry console, bedroom or living room.
