A handsome set of eight English Regency side chairs, each with a gently arched crest rail and shaped mid rail, both inlaid in brass with scrolling anthemion and foliate motifs. The reeded stiles sweep down into elegant saber legs, front and back, a nod to the Greek klismos form that defined the Regency taste. Drop-in seats are upholstered in a soft striped fabric that's easy to keep or recover to suit your room.
A full set of eight is increasingly hard to find. These seat a proper dinner party and have the slim, graceful scale that suits a modern dining room as easily as a traditional one.
Each chair measures 33" H x 18.5" W x 21" D.
