A vintage felt pennant from the Puerto Rico Olympic Committee, a wonderful find for a gallery wall, sports den, or collector of Olympic memorabilia. The cream felt body features the Comite Olimpico de Puerto Rico emblem at the top: the Puerto Rican flag with the five Olympic rings in the blue triangle, ringed by the committee name in red and navy. Below, PUERTO RICO runs down the length of the pennant in bold red block letters. A navy felt header band with white stitching and two red hanging loops finishes the top, so it is ready to hang as-is.
Measures about 25 inches long by 9 inches wide at the hoist. Good vintage condition with bright, unfaded lettering; the felt shows light age toning, a few small spots, and a soft horizontal fold crease, all consistent with age and visible in the photos.
