The listing contains three “Blue Fjord” teacups from Wood & Sons, and one “Blue Nordic” cup from Meakin.

This pattern is a variation of the “Blue Willow” and other “Blue and White” that became extremely popular in earlier centuries. This iconic variation features a bright white background with stylized Eastern motifs, including asters, peonies, and pomegranates (which Europeans often mistook for onions).

In addition to tabletop use, these pieces are also wonderful for display alone or as part of a collection.

Condition: These pieces are in very good vintage condition with minor signs of wear and some crazing appropriate to age and use. Each cup is marked on the bottom. See less
