A splendid and rare original 1970s modernist pendant lamp (chandelier), model s447, produced by the renowned luci illuminazione company (milan) and designed by idea studio tecno design.
this lamp is a true icon of italian space age style. It stands out for its large, semi-spherical dome-shaped diffuser made of translucent fiberglass in amber tones, characterized by warm geometric ribs that define its volumes. The distinctive feature of this innovative material lies in the rich, organic texture inside, which is revealed when the lamp is turned on, filtering a welcoming, warm, and beautifully diffused light. The body is topped by a polished chrome-plated metal lamp holder with its characteristic original spiral cable. the lamp is in excellent vintage structural condition and is in perfect working order. Each item shows signs of aging due to use and age, primarily visible in the form of slight dullness and normal superficial micro-scratches on the fiberglass surface, as well as minor oxidation spots or traces of use consistent with the piece's age on the upper chrome-plated metal cylinder.
