Square studio ceramic lidded box/bonbonnière from the 1960s/1970s.
• Fridegart Glatzle for the State Majolica Manufactory Karlsruhe. • Handmade terracotta/stoneware body with a striking, thick enamel and crackle glaze on the lid in vibrant yellow and moss green.
• Relief-like, crystalline-looking surface texture.
• Underside with original, blind-stamped manufactory mark (illegible due to the rich glaze flow).
