The top, in an intense red-orange hue, features a naturally irregular surface characteristic of enameled lava: micro-craters, fusion effects, and nuances ranging from bright red to deep brown-black give the piece a distinctly earthy appearance. The structure consists of a frame and four square legs in brushed stainless steel, in a clean, geometric style representative of the decade's design. The contrast between the industrial-finish steel and the organic material of the top is the piece's main visual feature.
