The leather has acquired a beautiful, warm caramel patina. Its aged patina reveals a multitude of colors and reflections, traces of time, and a great deal of charm. This is hardly surprising when you consider that it is over 120 years old.

It features a custom-painted French flag on the top and several travel tags on the sides. The lock, clasps, and studs are made of solid brass and bear the Louis Vuitton hallmark. All the studs are solid brass and are marked "Louis Vuitton." There is a large leather handle on each side.

The interior is also very interesting, with its original lining, Louis Vuitton label, and partially faded serial number. The ribbon forming a quilted pattern under the lid has the "Louis Vuitton" inscription embroidered on it. The interior is entirely original. There is no odor inside.

This trunk comes with its custom-made, removable wooden base, which allows it to reach a height of 49 cm. Please note that without this base, its height is 42 cm. Below, it retains its original leather and wooden slats. This trunk would be perfect as a coffee table, side table, or bedside table—it's truly chic!
