Only one pillow was made from it. Beckmann was a Sonoma-based textile artist whose batik and hand-painted work appeared in landmark hotels and private residences, and her death in 2018 ended the production of these fabrics.

The pillow measures 18 by 18 inches with a self welt on all four sides and a hidden zipper. No insert is included; it fits a 20 by 20 inch form. It was hand sewn in Sonoma, California.

The Barbara Beckmann fabric used here was acquired directly from her estate by Heather Kearsley Wolf, a longtime friend and collaborator of the artist. See less
