This distinctive Arts and Crafts-era piece features graceful black silhouettes of birds in flight, accented by delicate touches of yellow against a beautiful creamy white glaze. The shallow circular dish is paired with a coordinating domed lid, complete with a rounded finial and elegant black banding.

The contrast between the soft ivory glaze and bold bird motifs gives this century-old piece a wonderfully graphic, almost contemporary appeal. Both decorative and collectible, it makes a lovely addition to an antique American pottery collection, a thoughtfully curated kitchen, or a charming breakfast tablescape.

The underside retains its circular Guernsey Cooking Ware maker's mark. See less
