An exceptional and imposing pair of tall Neoclassical style table lamps, hand-carved from solid natural alabaster. Modeled after classical architectural pillars, each lamp features a beautifully proportioned fluted column shaft rising elegantly from a substantial, stepped square plinth base.
The genuine stone showcases an exquisite cream and tan coloration, accented by warm ivory tones and highlighted by soft, cloudy natural veining. The stone bodies are heavily trimmed with decorative ornate brass collars, capitals, and detailed base borders that add a refined layer of structural contrast. Striking a perfect balance between grand architectural geometry and the soft warmth of natural stone, these monumental columns serve as timeless, commanding anchors for a sophisticated entryway console, living room, or study. Newer wiring with brass 3 way sockets and cords.
Measures: Overall height to top of sockets is 27" , widest width the base at 5 1/2" square.

Wear consistent with age and use. Both lamps are structurally sound with no major cracks or repairs to the stone. Some minor light scuffing, and negligible flea-bites along the sharp edges of the square bases. The brass fittings retain a rich, authentic age tarnish and soft patina.
