An exceptional early-production vintage cold-cast bronze sculpture titled "The Lovers," expertly handcrafted by Genesis Fine Arts in Mullingar, County Westmeath, Ireland. This beautiful romantic sculpture showcases an intimate, fluid depiction of a nude couple embracing, resting gracefully atop a stylized base that echoes organic, swirling ocean waves.
Crafted utilizing a premium cold-cast bronze technique—which blends genuine bronze powder with a heavy structural resin matrix—this piece delivers the substantial weight, cool-to-the-touch texture, and deep, lustrous luster of traditional foundry metal castings.
This specific sculpture features its original, authentic late-1980s to early-1990s gold studio label on the protective felt underside, verifying its provenance and handcrafted Irish origins. Preserved in pristine, mint vintage condition with a flawless dark brown patina, this striking sculpture makes an elegant, sophisticated accent piece for any curated mantle, bookshelf, or secondary art collection.
