This visually captivating hardcover celebrates one of the most remarkable natural history collections of the 18th century, featuring extraordinary botanical, zoological, and scientific illustrations.

Albertus Seba, the celebrated Dutch pharmacist and natural history collector, assembled an extensive cabinet of specimens from around the world. His famous collection was documented in elaborate hand-colored engravings depicting exotic shells, butterflies, birds, reptiles, marine life, plants, and other wonders of the natural world.
