Beautiful antique/vintage hand-painted glass floral picture featuring dusty pink and mauve roses with deep green foliage against a turquoise/aqua background. This is not a print. The flowers are painted directly onto the surface of the glass, and the raised brushwork can be felt. The painting is in a beautiful, original, vintage ornate cream-colored frame with raised gesso/composition decoration, scrolling floral details, rope molding, and an aged antique finish. The back retains its old brown paper covering and hanging wire. There is age-related wear, crazing, small marks, and imperfections to the frame and painting, as expected with an older piece.
Measuring 28.5" wide x 20" high, this would be beautiful in an English, country, cottage, Victorian, traditional, romantic, or grandmillenial interior.
