executed in oil on canvas, the painting reflects svenson’s connection to the nordic landscape tradition associated with helmer osslund, under whom he studied. The scene from riddarebo possesses a calm observational quality, somewhere between naturalism and modern scandinavian interpretation.

presented in its original patinated wooden frame, which complements the earthy palette and quiet character of the work beautifully.

the painting and frame remain in very good vintage condition with light age-related wear consistent with age.
