Four panelled doors span the front, each fitted with diamond-shaped iron escutcheons and a working ornate key. The case sits on turned baluster legs joined by a wavy-profile stretcher, with a matching scalloped apron beneath the doors.

Behind the doors, the interior offers adjustable shelving to either side and, at centre, a bank of four felt-lined sliding trays with shaped fronts and dovetailed drawer boxes. The oak shows an even, honey-toned finish with a slightly darker top surface, and construction throughout is clean and straightforward.

Substantial in scale, this sideboard, or credenza, combines restrained Danish cabinetmaking with genuine storage capacity.
