Dating to approximately the 1960s–1970s, this attractive piece combines practical bedroom storage with the clean lines and warm timber tones associated with British mid-century furniture. The chest features six drawers in total, comprising two smaller drawers across the top and four generously proportioned full-width drawers beneath. Each drawer is fitted with an elongated recessed wooden handle, creating a streamlined appearance. The teak-veneered drawer fronts display attractive natural grain patterns, complemented by a gently rounded top edge and a simple plinth base. Its relatively compact width makes it particularly suitable for bedrooms, dressing rooms and London flats where generous storage is needed without occupying excessive floor space.
