The composition captures the charm and sentiment of 19th-century romantic art, with delicately rendered figures, soft colours and a picturesque natural setting.

The image is protected behind glass and presented in a striking oval giltwood frame. The richly decorated frame features sculpted floral and foliate motifs in relief, with particularly attractive ornamental details at the top and bottom. Its warm golden finish beautifully complements the romantic subject.

Both the reproduction and the frame are in excellent condition. The gilded finish is well preserved, with no missing or damaged decorative elements.

An elegant decorative accent for a French-inspired interior, a traditional living room, bedroom or hallway. T
