the lamp features a beautifully curved arm in brass-plated metal and a conical shade in white opal glass that provides a pleasant, soft, and glare-free light.

the adjustable shade makes it easy to direct the light as needed, making the lamp perfect as a reading light on the bedside table, a desk lamp, or ambient lighting in the living room.

the sleek combination of opal glass and brass tone fits equally well in both classic and modern interiors, adding a warm, cozy feel.

ikea is one of sweden's most famous companies and was founded by ingvar kamprad in 1943, when he was only 17 years old. The company was registered in småland and initially started selling small items like pens, wallets, and clocks before adding furniture to its range in 1948.

for those who like older ikea items, it might be interesting to know that many lamps from the 1980s and 1990s have today become collector's items, especially models with opal glass, brass details, and distinct scandinavian design.
