Black metal and glass wall sconce by b+l leuchten, germany, dating from the 1960s. A hemispherical black-painted metal shade partially encloses a rounded white glass diffuser. The shade projects from a matching circular wall mount, creating a compact composition of curved forms. Its pale interior contrasts with the black exterior, while the glass screens the single light source and softens the illumination. An integrated on/off switch is positioned beneath the wall mount. The contrast between the opaque black shell and translucent glass defines the fixture, with a restrained profile suited to a bedside or hallway. Dimensions: 12 cm (h) × 13 cm (w) × 17 cm (d).
