Bubbled glass ceiling fixture by Cosack, Germany, dating from the 1960s. The fixture combines a broad circular glass diffuser with a brass mounting structure. The thick glass has an irregular bubbled texture that catches and refracts the light across its surface, creating a pronounced decorative effect. The warm brass element provides a contrasting frame for the clear textured glass, while the shallow circular form keeps the fixture visually compact when installed.
