Blue metal and glass wall sconce by b+l leuchten, germany, dating from the 1960s. A hemispherical, blue-painted metal shade partially encloses a rounded white glass diffuser. The shade projects from a matching circular wall mount, with a pale inner surface that contrasts with the blue exterior. The glass screens the single light source and softens the illumination. An integrated on/off switch sits beneath the wall mount. The compact proportions and simple circular forms give the fixture a restrained, geometric character, while the blue finish introduces a distinct colour accent.
