Pigments are vibrant with zero craquelure, flaking, or fading. Canvas is tight on the original wooden stretcher bars. Frame & Liner: Original molded wooden frame is structurally solid. Outer gesso shows minor, character-rich chipping along the edges. The textured linen liner exhibits mild, expected age-related toning. Provenance: Reverse side retains authentic collection and artist attribution labels, verifying authenticity. Suggested Quick Rehab Dry Surface Dusting: Gently sweep the canvas and frame using a soft, professional-grade hake brush or microfiber cloth to remove any fine particulate dust. Do not use liquids or chemical cleaners on the oil surface or linen liner. Frame Touch-Up: Apply a matching dark wax or touch-up marker to minor gesso chips on the outer frame edge if desired, preserving the vintage patina. less
