An iconic post-war American dining table by Virtue Brothers of Los Angeles. The piece features a durable, speckled green Formica laminate top framed by wide, ribbed aluminum trim and supported by sculptural, tubular chrome legs. A quintessential example of 1950s California atomic-era kitchen design.In good vintage condition with a vibrant, well-preserved laminate top and structurally rigid chrome base displaying light, age-consistent surface oxidation.

Shows minimal, faint superficial surface scratches visible only under direct angled light. No chips or deep gouges. Edge Banding: Ribbed aluminum edge trim is securely fastened around the perimeter with minor scuffing at corners. Chrome Frame & Legs: Heavy tubular steel legs retain bright reflectivity, but show standard age-related pitting, speckling, and light oxidation along the lower portions. Structural Stability: Frame is exceptionally rigid and sturdy with no wobble. Suggested Quick Rehab Chrome De-Oxidation: Rub chrome legs with 0000 steel wool and a light coat of baby oil or metal polish (e.g., Autosol) to dissolve surface rust specks and restore mirror shine. Formica Conditioning: Clean laminate surface with mild soapy water, followed by an application of furniture polish to deepen the green luster. less
