A striking American Late Victorian Renaissance Revival full-size bed frame, circa 1880s. Expertly handcrafted from solid walnut with a deeply rich, warm wood grain, this set serves as a dramatic structural focal point for any bedroom.
The imposing, cathedral-style high-back headboard features elegant recessed architectural panels flanked by beautifully hand-carved floral and grape-cluster finials. The matching footboard mirrors this sophisticated styling, showcasing a graceful arched pediment crest centered around a prominently raised, circular medallion focal point.
The bed comes complete with its two original matching wooden side rails, utilizing classic slip-and-lock cast iron joints for a secure, sturdy assembly. A premier example of late 19th-century American craftsmanship, perfect for historic properties or adding soulful vintage charm to a modern space.
