The front is handwoven Afghan wool kilim. The weave shows vertical panels of green and lavender cross motifs and rust stepped shapes on a pale sand ground. What you see in the photos is the pillow you get.

Because kilim is a flatweave, there is no pile to crush. You may see small slits where two colors meet; that is normal in slit-woven kilim. The back is plain cotton and the zipper is hidden, with the polyester insert included.

This is a 17x17 square throw pillow, the usual kilim size, and it makes a good accent pillow for a sofa, an armchair or a bed.

In a boho chic room this Afghan kilim pillow brings a tribal, geometric pattern. It is a handwoven wool decorative pillow that pairs well with solid linen or velvet.

Spot clean with a damp cloth, or dry clean the cover with the insert removed.

New. Weaving by hand leaves small irregularities in shape and color, and screens show color a little differently. Ships from Arteverk Rugs & Home in Houston, TX. See less
