Sage and navy geometric panel kilim lumbar pillow by Arteverk, 12 x 17 inches. The front is handwoven Afghan wool kilim. It shows two panels with a cream hooked cross on navy and a rust red hooked cross on mustard, framed by sage and brown stepped edges. The pillow in the photos is the one you'll receive.
There is no pile to crush, since kilim is a flatweave. Small slits where two colors meet are a normal part of slit weaving. It has a plain cotton back and a hidden zipper, polyester insert included.
At 12x17 this lumbar pillow is a rectangular throw pillow sized for an armchair or a dining chair, or for the front row of pillows on a bed.
An Afghan kilim pillow in a tribal, geometric, boho chic style: a handwoven wool decorative pillow that stands out against a solid neutral sofa.
Spot clean with a damp cloth, or dry clean the cover with the insert removed.
New condition. Because it is woven by hand, expect small irregularities in shape and color; colors also vary slightly from screen to screen. Ships from Arteverk Rugs & Home in Houston, TX.
