Circa 1920s Jacobean Revival fall-front server by The Pooley, Philadelphia, USA.
Dark wood case with carved trim along the top edge, turned legs joined by a stretcher base, and original ornate brass drop-pull hardware with a central oval brass medallion on the fall front.
The top section drops down into a serving shelf with storage behind for dishes and glassware. Below, two cabinet doors open to further storage. The inside of the fall front bears the maker's mark in gold script: "The Pooley, Philadelphia, U.S.A." — the Philadelphia Pooley company, known for its early Victrola and radio cabinets.
A handsome, well-built piece that works as a server, bar cabinet, or entry statement piece.
