A beautifully preserved vintage mid-century French porcelain trinket dish / vanity catchall tray crafted by the historic Manufacture de Couleuvre.
This rectangular dish is formed using authentic, premium Limoges porcelain paste ("pâte de Limoges"), valued for its ultra-white, high-glaze translucent quality. The interior features a vibrant, multi-colored hand-painted bouquet of romantic florals centered around a large pink cabbage rose, purple irises, and delicate field blossoms. The outer border is richly embellished with an intricate, scalloped frame of thick, hand-applied 22k gold leaf scrolling motifs. The underside is cleanly stamped with the factory's signature hallmark—a coiled grass snake enveloped by the "Pâte de Limoges - Couleuvre - France" circular insignia.
