"Devotion"
“Never looking away from the truth.” — from Lumière: The Story
A contemporary fragment piece in the tradition of architectural salvage — designed to evoke a precious remnant of hand-textured wall surface recovered from a historic European interior and preserved under acrylic from Michele Stone’s Lumière Collection.
Rendered entirely by hand on jute with layered gesso and Old World finishing techniques — crackle, depth, patina — no two pieces are alike. The raw deckled edges are intentional, a hallmark of the fragment aesthetic. Then printed for a truly unique find. Presented in a floating acrylic frame with black and silver standoffs.
Standoff options: Gold, black, or silver. Black is the standard option for this piece, please message for gold or silver.
