Mounted on a wooden black rectangular base and prominently signed/marked “JP.”

This substantial piece weighs approximately 15.8 lbs. and measuring approximately 16 inches wide × 5 inches wide. It has wonderful movement and texture, while displaying beautifully from multiple angles.

Acquired from an estate sale in Greenport, Long Island, research suggests a possible connection to East End sculptor Jim/James Posner, who lived in Greenport and is documented as having created metal sculpture. This attribution has not been authenticated, so the sculpture is being offered as an unidentified artist work signed “JP.”

Substantial piece for collectors of abstract sculpture, Brutalist art, Mid-Century Modern décor, vintage bronze and East End/Long Island art.
