The ancient work represents the oldest bridge that crosses the Seine in Paris.

This landscape art work, XIX Century, is signed by P. Sain (1853-1908), as you can see bottom left. 

Sain Paul Jean Marie (1853-1908), french painter from Avignon, was a pupil of Guilbert, d'Anelle and Gérome.

He began exhibiting at the Salon Des Artistes Français in 1879, receiving many awards and medals.

In 1889 and also in 1900 he participated in the "Exposition Universelle" of Paris and received a bronze medal.

The oil on canvas painting dates back to the nineteenth Century and it is an artwork.
