A beautiful set of 6 Mahogany Chippendale Chairs. The set includes 5 side chairs and 1 arm chair dating from the late 1700's. They have splat backs, upholstered drop-in seats and square legs. The seats were recently upholstered in a very neutral light cream material.
The chairs have a great patina with solid, structurally sound frames. Given their age, there are some scratches mostly on the bottom of the legs as can be seen in the photos.
They are really a handsome set of chairs with good size and sit comfortably for lingering dinners!

There are the usual scratches/dings for items of this age mainly on the bottoms of the legs. I tried to capture in some of the pictures. Overall, the chairs have great patina. The seats were recently recovered and are in good shape. less
